TPA Vision CreationThe difference between the great entrepreneurs and mere mortals is vision. Great entrepreneurs have a clear vision of their future. They know the intimate details and can see, touch and smell it. They can share that vision and create a team who move together towards achieving it.
It quickly became apparent to TPA that many companies simply did not have a vision of the future. If they did it was not all-encompassing and was seldom a vision shared with anyone else.
TPA developed a programme to assist companies create a common vision and then break it down into key elements to make that vision become the reality.
This method has now been refined to a one day session for between 2 and 10 people. The session is designed to enable selected managers and/or staff to be able to create a shared vision of a successful future. A by-product of the process is that it draws out current issues in a non-threatening environment and often opens the door to quick wins.
The Thornton Perry Vision Creation Programme is a thought provoking day with a very practical output. It is an opportunity to start thinking beyond the issues and pressures of everyday working life.
The techniques learned can be used in formal settings with other levels of the organisation or can be used to think creatively in the office or in the car.
TPA vision creation will:
Follow up

Business Process
We start by making sense of your business, mapping it out clearly and simply so it starts to make more sense to you. From this starting point we can help you develop your future strategy.
What is a Business Process?
Business processes describe the activities of your company / company employees as they perform their day to day duties
As a general rule, business processes will lose 15-20% of their efficiency within two years of being defined and installed. This means that you should subject your business processes to regular review to ensure that they continue to meet the needs of your business.
What is Business Process Analysis?
Why is it important to manage your Business Processes?
Business Process Analysis
This process begins by creating Business Scenarios i.e. the key processes that drive your business forward – these are then analysed using the six step process as highlighted below:

Benchmarking
The Thornton Perry ‘Competitive Analysis and Benchmarking' model has been developed as a tool to help companies evaluate their current positioning in the market and identify real opportunities and USP's (Unique Sales Propositions) to drive the business forward. The model incorporates ‘best practice' from a number of sources and has been put together by Thornton Perry to add real value to business planning and applications.
While the Thornton Perry model can be used as a one off to refine the positioning of a business at a point of time, its real added value comes from using it as a rolling analytical tool to improve business positioning on an ongoing basis.
Each organisation that undertakes the Thornton Perry analysis will be given detailed documentation (both hard copy and ‘electronic') to enable them to complete the various exercises that make up the analysis process.
Specifically this model is a vehicle to enable companies to develop a vision for the future, identify areas of improvement following brainstorming and develop plans to exploit the opportunities highlighted following a comparison of required positioning v/s positioning realised following benchmarking activity i.e. identifying market gaps where activity can create USP's and profitable points of differentiation
Methodology
The Thornton Perry model is a fully integrated model with eight key steps which logically follow each other. The model is graphically shown:

“Dantotsu” striving to be the best of the best
“Ishikawa” – Cause and effect
